Music video traducing

Hi friends!

In these days we've been working in an interesting project. We've traduced a music video into some languages. For doing that, we've created an account in Dotsub and download a video in English. Then, we've traduced it into other languages (in our case into Spanish and French).

This project has really been very satisfying for me, as I've never traduced a video before. It wasn't very difficult to traduce the video but it required some effort.

We've chosen this video simply because we both like it and due to its fame. It's a quite famous song.

Red hot chili peppers are an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Their musical style is rock as you can see in the song below. The members of the group are Anthony Kiedis, Michael "Flea" Balzary, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer. They've published ten discs and the song we've traduced is taken from "By the Way".
  

How free the world really is?

New website

Hi, friends!

I know what you will think: I haven't written any post for ages! Yes, that's true but there is a reason why I haven't written. 

In class, we've been creating a website and now I am going to explain how we've created it. Firstly, we created a website in English in google sites. Then we created another one in Basque, our original language, but we only traduced the titles of the pages. Finally, we created our last website for welcoming and we linked it with the other two webs. 

So, now we have one website in two languages with a welcoming page. This websites have been created to announce a business. Of course, the business we announce are false so they are private in order people not to get confused. If you want to visit my website click here.

Summary of the first term

In this post we are going talk about the work that we have done to summarise the first term. We have created a presentation using slideshare. Firstly, we created a presentation in google docs and we added photos and links. Then, we recorded each slide and we converted to an mp3 file. Finally, we uploaded both works, we synchronised then and we published it.

Novel Prizes

Hi, friends!

This week we have been asked to write about a person who has won a Novel Prize. I have chosen the president of the USA, Barack Obama. He won the Novel prize of peace in 2009 for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples.

After looking more deeply why he was given this Novel Prize I have found some interesting information. The text that summarises the reason of this fantastic prize says that Obama received it because of his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples. The Committee also gave another reason: the work of Obama to achieve a world without nuclear weapons. This text also underlines that Obama is a very famous and charismatic character and is known in all over the world.

Frankly, I think this text says the whole truth about Barack Obama. He works hard to have a better world and he is recognised through all over the world. An example of his popularity is the picture that you have in the left. Countries in blue were won by Obama in the elections of 2004.

An amazing thing he achieved was that he was the first black president of the USA. He changed the history of the USA and know he controls one of the most powerful countries in all the world.

 Continuing with Obama's achievements here we have an interesting list:

• Obama has eliminated several Al-Qaeda leaders
• He has ended the War in Iraq
• He has overhauled the food safety system
• He has advanced women's rights in the work place

 Here we have a video linked with terrorism in the USA: the attack of the Twin Towers.

This video shows unbelievable images of a terrorist attack of Al-Qaeda. Obama has eliminated several Al-Qaeda leaders and this is important as this terrorists could do another attack.
